yes its true....this is my first post. i love this site, and no i had never heard of TriggerHappy998 when i chose my ingame name....

BUT!!!!

i was just playing karkand, and i was a sniper. clmibing up the ladder at the square, then out of the blue, it says i killed someone. im like wtf? how could i have killed someone, never laied any clays, no nades, couldnt have been the M95 because i was climbing up a ladder. i look to the top of the screen to see how i killed him, and it says

[WMR] Trigger_Happy_92 [LADDER] devilstriker81

im like WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!! i tried to take a screenie but it was too late, argh im mad at myself for that. but believe me, it says i killed him with a LADDER.

has anyone else had anything like this happen before?

LOL nice, same wierd stuff happens to me ill be backtracking to a flag and it comes up that i have killed someone but im not near anyone.

How for gods sake can you kill someone with a ladder. I know it may seem like a vehicle because you can change view on it. but there is nothing lethal on a ladder.

I had one last week where i killed someone with [mounted machine] and at the time i was in point 4 in a jeep driving to a friendly flag

I had something weird like that too. A bunch of us jumped out of a chopper. Open Parachute... down down down. I landed ontop of a teammate, killed him... He TK'd me. Oh well.

THen ofcourse there's the supply box that falls on your head. I've died like that.

What I am amazed at is that bf2 had a name for it...

I mean, the function that tells someone how they died has names for everything that you can kill someone with, why would ladder be on that list...? Huh, they must have just put everything on for the hell of it...

It should've just said ' you were killed ' If you were on the ladder and got wounded/killed it should not say that because that isn't one of the options I believe in the program itself, just like you can't kill someone with zipline. But if someone can decode and find it let us know. Just an observation/opinion.

nah... that's common ^^ because that happens when you shank a tank with a AT and he drives off for about 20 seconds and runs into a wall or whatever it will definately say that..try it. Or when you have 4 bars left on your vehicle and hit something that doesn't move.

I see that 'killed" thing alot too. I think it happens when you blow up a vehicle ans the explosion kills some one.

I've killed someone on a ladder, but proactivly. I was climbing down a tall one and there was an enemy coming up below me. I slid down the ladder and took him out. It just said [killed] though. I guess I didn't realy kill him with the ladder though did I.

maybe if has it if you climb over an enemy on a ladder u kill him, or did u do the quickslide down the ;adder on him/?? (i only realised i could fly down a ladder today :S)

I guess the ladder is some "vehicle" to bf2 (like the parachute). When your Claymore kills and your using a vehicle it counts as vehicle-kill. I got some "ATV" kills when someone ran into my Claymore and I drove ATV that time.

Nah you can actually pick it up and carry it to you next destination, the when a tank comes crawl up and then kick it down on unsuspecting enemies.
