Just downloaded the incremental patch from here
http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/patches/bf2_incremental_patch_1.12%20-%201.2.exe

Installed it and guess what? When I load BF2 up it shows 1.1.2 in the top right corner and not 1.2 :S

When I try and repatch it says you must have 1.1.2 installed so it has patched. I checked the files and their all showing newer modify dates

Any ideas?

Just play and see what you get. I think other people are having this problem too but I don't think it really affects you. There was something about activating BF2 1.2 in the community tab under BFHQ...

Re activate BF2 from community screen...

Same for SF....

Or you could reboot your comp/ load BF2 three or four times in between playing...

In your main screen in the top right corner:

1.1.2554-356.0 = 1.12

Ah its their build numbers that are confusing us!

1.1.2696-528.0 you would think that was 1.1.2 and would expect 1.2.0696-528.0 for 1.2

Just my 2 cents
