yea as long as u have 1.12 installed all you need is the incremental patch

lol yeah it started with 300kb/sec now 26.5, doesnt matter to me but the time isnt going to the right direction

downloading from node mirror and the patch says 81.5 mb so is it the correct size?

Hooray - EA have updated their site - see you guys online. Just as a note it appears everyone in the world is trying to download the patch all at once - expect to wait a while when downloading from EA.

so far from what ive heard is that people quite like it the new patch.

I have played at least 15 rounds since the patch and I can honestly say the l96 is hardly disappointing. It is VERY accurate, and will kill in one hit it seems if you hit them in the chest, or up. The sound is INCREDIBLE too.asbad wrote:

omg this patch is taking forever to download, still got 3 and a half hours left to wait
its only downloading at 6kb/s and its quiclky getting slower and slower arhhhhh

I have to admit I like it. It's definitely to be preferred over the basic anti-tank weapons and if you expect not to be engaged in CQB too often you should also prefer it ot the DAO. The laser pointer targeting is pretty helpful and if you're aiming closely, you'll even do a lot of damage. Plus: The magazine has a capacity of 50 rounds (3 mags available all in all) which gives you an advantage if your enemy emptied his magazine.asbad wrote:

the "Full" patch is. if you have never patched BF2 before (i.e. if you just bought it), it would take you from 1.00 to 1.2. It is also for anyone who may not have played in a while and have 1.02, it will take any version of BF2 up to the current version (1.2). The downside is 358MB vs. 81MBAyumiz wrote:

lol, i tried installing the incremental, it messed up near the end. now i dont have 1.12 installed and the game itself wont run. im trying to download the full 1.2 patch but due to the amount of downloads, its going to take me like 9 hours. so it looks like theres going to be no bf2 for me tonight

Anyone else not able to download from the official EA site yet (my location is North America)? I keep getting a "Page Not Found" error.
All the links are giving me like 18 kb/s too.....is that just my computer or are others having the same issue?

ive download it from another link, is somewere here in the forum with 600/kb per second played it and DAMN it rocks well atleast my first opion. i'll see more tomorow gotta go now.
