Hi, Im an old bf2 player and i used to play as often as i could about a year ago and then i took a pretty long paus. Now i tried to take off were i left, have some fun and try to get those 25 000 points to my next rank. But when i logged in they had taken away everything, every medal, every rank every global point etc.. whats up with that?
I checked out my "soldier" at bf2s.com and i i still existed (check out w1lll3), medals and every thing. So is this just a bug? or does Ea seriously punish players that takes a paus..

I think EA might reset your stats if you haven't played in a long time. I'm not sure though.

your problem maybe just a glitch, did BFHQ show you having no global pionts ect ?
or did you logg into a server and have no rank or unlocks ?

Whats a long time then? becuse i never thought i hadent played for so long that they felt the need to reset my stats? thats fucking 185 hours for nothing god sometimes i really hate games..

bfhq shows no stats and i have logged in about 5 times and tried new servers but still no medals.. i can even win the first medals like killing 10 people as sniper.. etc..

They are smiting you for not slaughtering your first born and offering it up for sacrifice.

It's probably just a glitch in BFHQ, log back in and check. They don't reset your stats if you haven't played in a while.

if it was you BFHQ that didn't show anything, then I wouldn't worry about it, unless you can't use any unlocks or anything...

my dad is head of bf2 stats over in america and he said he wiped a shit load of accounts excluding top 10 hackers because he's getting fired anyway i was like dad dont wipe me and so he didnt and i got in with him and did eskimo kiss

yeah but BFHQ is now showing me progress as i play.. like im soon about to rank for the first time.. it sucks!

In your time playing BF2 did you ever go on any statpadding servers maybe, or a pistol and knife server? Still very odd that stat sites show you have your stats but bfhq doesn't. I dunno, this is a long shot, and i emphasize the word LONG, email EA, worth a shot, 5 minute email, 2 week reply, I would. I really doubt EA would reset someone because they haven't played in a while.

You could try to retrieve the account manually, via the account login/manage accounts tab. Try cut/paste your profiles somewhere safe, like your desktop before you do. You can put them back by cut/past again into the profiles dir.

But i allready did that I mailed EA on thursday and they said they have an 24 hour respons policy but i havent received an answer yet.. but i did get my first onlock yesterday.. "yippie"..

They don't reset for a break I don't think. I took a year and 6 months break on my other account and it was still fine. I'd even joined Knife/Pistol servers a few times accidentally before on it as well.

I hope you get it resolved though.
