hey guys
was playing fine last night etc. never had a problem ... come home today click join game, freeze then i get the xfire error upload screen. mmk so i close xfire try again, still crashes ... microsoft has encountered a problem. I reboot, same thing. Then i back up my profiles, reinstall ... and same thing still .... wtf?

Anyone got any ideas?

btw it still does it when xfire's closed or isn't opened.

Edit : I can now join a game, it's fine but about 30 secs in i get kicked for "INIT Failure." I'm so fucked off with this and after like 3 hours reinstalling and all the rest of the shit with this game i still can't play for more than 30 secs. Worst of all it was fucking fine yesterday and nothing was even changed

Anyone know how to solve this init faikure problem please?!?!?!?!

I have it sometimes with xFire too, and I fucking hate xfire for doing that to me. I mean ffs, stop messing about in my games, you are only there to provide me with ingame chat. But fuckin no, its doing everything except for giving me an ingame chat program. But it does go and check my games. Fuckin xfire.

I think init failure is outdated PB. Update that and have a shot..

Try with Xfire closed.

About the INIT problem, I had it with Vista. Had to update Punkbuster and Run in Windows XP mode and as Administrator.

Well as you know i'd reinstalled numerous times, updated pb etc.
