Just found this audio clip demonstrating binaural recording. It's pretty amazing that you can hear the direction of the sound even with normal headphones. I wish they could make something like this in to games.

You have to use headphones for this to work.

That's insane. I believe the DVD for Monsters Inc. had something with binaural hearing on it... this was so much cooler.
