The 35th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision is tomorrow, January 22, 2008. Since that day over 47 million babies have been killed by abortion. Could one of those little ones have grown up and discovered the cure for cancer, AIDS, Alzheimer’s, etc? Life is a gift. If you or someone you love is pregnant and considering abortion, please reconsider. This is what you will miss out on …
Could one of the little ones grown up to be the next Hitler, Hussain, Bin laden.
Works both ways.
Works both ways.
First picture...very cool.

Not really. In the United States, people are civilized (relatively speaking) in America--I don't think you're going to have huge chances of that.jord wrote:

The number of innocent babies killed by abortion far outweighs the Hitlers of the world ...
A lot of people misunderstand what overturning Roe v. Wade would do.
It would not automatically illegalize abortion. It would put the issue back in the hands of the voters, which is where it belongs. Obviously, a debate as passionate on both sides as this one ought not be mandated from the bench as though this were a dictatorship, but decided by the people.
I don't see why people on either side of the debate would be against letting the democracy flex its muscles...except that the pro-abortion crowd is worried that they are in such a minority that it will be blanket-banned from coast to coast?
I think that every american who is proud of our great nation should desire the overturning of this unjust decision that was made contrary to the vision of our founding fathers.
An issue this volatile should be voted upon.

Technically you're not missing out on all of those wonderful images that you posted... you're more realistically missing out on a bunch of molecules and tissue bundled together in early stages of foetal development, with no sentience or sapience.
Is this actually a D&ST topic or is it some anti-abortion agitprop?

It does yes. But then again Hitler caused more deaths than just other dictators.Stingray24 wrote:

Though I won't derail your thread, abortion becomes a heated argument in the end.
But the chance that one does rise and gets power is there, World War II alone caused as much deaths in 5 years as the abortion has done in 35 years.Stingray24 wrote:

Debate if you wish, I was aiming for serious talk. If I wanted debate I would have added much more provocative content. I specifically left that out in my memorial to all the babies that have been killed by abortion. Pardon me if I never considered my children a mass of tissue ...Uzique wrote:

Are we just going to overturn it completely? What about rape and incest? What about fatal deformities or complications that pose severe risk of the mother dying trying to give birth?
Some like to impose their morality on others. It's not my body that will carry the pregnancy, so why should I be the one making the decision for others?Agent_Dung_Bomb wrote:

Love is the answer
If you gentlemen wish to debate this issue again, I'll gladly meet you in another thread. This is simply a memorial to all the babies that have been killed by abortion.SenorToenails wrote:

Could the embryonic stem cells be critical in discovering a cure for those same diseases?jord wrote:

"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
Just look at what those babies are missing eh?
I remember the womb like yesterday.
BTW vote Ron Paul. He'll overturn it.

Because the one thing the world needs right now is more people....
Happy B-Day Roe v Wade, and wishing you many more to come.
Wow, that's not selfish at all.PureFodder wrote:

That being said, look at the point above.

No worries Stingray, the ones who spout off shit do not have kids and have no idea what they are talking about.Stingray24 wrote:

Don't worry, your penis will still grow after 30 years of age.Agent_Dung_Bomb wrote:

Who gives a flying fuck whether I have kids or not. Whether I have them or not is not the point. We aren't talking about people being forced to have abortions, we are talking about people being able to make that choice.lowing wrote:

And believe it or not fucktard, I have no problems further limiting the extent to which elective abortions can be performed; elective abortions should be limited to first trimester as far as I'm concerned.
And what in the fuck are you talking about. You make zero sense.The_Mac wrote:
