this problem is very hard to explain.

so every now and then i get this problem. i can be on foot, in a jet, chopper or car.

and all of a sudden my computer beeps like the buffer is full and im pressing to many buttons. so my guy will freeze up and keep walking and i can not control him, or he will start shooting and you cant stop him. i even take the batteries out of the mouse and nothing happens. i have swapped keyboards and it still does the same thing. i have been using the same mouse for 3 yrs and it seems to work fine.


anyone have any ideas?

Does it happen in all games or just BF2. Have you looked through your mouse properties and checked the settings?

bf2 is the only game i play, but it does not do it when im not playing.

yea i have looked threw the mouse settings, i even reinstalled the soft ware updates

Im not sure what to suggest. I've never had that happen...Have you tried resetting the default settings in the game itself for the keyboard/mouse?

i will give that a try,

even sometimes when im typing in game, it will freeze up and miss letters i pressed.

i swapped keyboards, it does the same thing.

95% sure it's a RAM issue, I'm guessing you have 512MB with a large paging file?

Actually, I've had similar to that, all i do when that happens is log out and log back in. Seems to work..
