Kerry (not me ) is considered a strong voice on national security issues and a respected elder of the Democratic establishment. That's what Obama needs.sergeriver wrote:

He won the nomination though. That's why I underlined Dem/Established. You have to get to the dance first.sergeriver wrote:

What Hillary and Obama need to do is cut out the BS and stop talking about each other and focus on this current administration. As soon as one of them is chosen as "the Democrat" they need to immediately choose the other as their running mate. Hillary and Obama are one in the same. Hilliary is at a disadvantage because a lot of men cant see past the tip of their member. But really she cant do any worse then any male, especially the one we have now. Obama has an edge because he is male, but they both represent change and we as a PLANET need change. Before they started the caucuses they had really nothing to say about each other but now they trade blows. The formalities of Politics is the biggest sack of crap ever.

That imagery brought back my memory of the Time Machine movie and the Morlocks calling the "cattle/sheep" for slaughter.CameronPoe wrote:

Bah. Doesn't matter if Hillary or Oobama wins. Either one is going to be an absolutely horrible president. One with barely enough experience to be a good governor, and one who is completely two-faced and attempts crying to get sympathy votes. Pathetic.
Lieberman? That's a heavy name, I mean he was Senator for 20 years or more, wasn't he? Well, I guess the Dems picked the wrong guy. Besides, he could have been the first Jewish American President.Kmarion wrote:

Doing that would just make you look stupid, as you apparently would know what was going on.
I don't think they need to focus on the current administration apart from actually saying how they would fix it.

Actually, getting any candidate to actually explain what they would do--instead of saying what the current administration has done wrong--would be quite refreshing. But then again, that would require them to have a position on something.

First why attack me by calling me stupid? How does one of them adding the other as Vice make me look stupid? Second, saying how they would fix the mistakes of the current administration is exactly what i'm talking about.Spark wrote:

No politician that has a chance is gonna answer questions straight forward. I have realized and gotten over that.FEOS wrote:

You really cant say that they are going to be horrible. Who would've guessed that Bush would've been that bad, his Dad wasn't as bad.BeerzGod wrote:

Do we want to stop Obama?

I'd agree with that. Call me naive, but he comes off as a lot more honest than the other candidates out there. I also like how he wants to get rid of all the petty bickering that exists in politics (whilst I wouldn't say this was actually possible, the fact he wants it gone and to concentrate on the actual issues involved is a good thing).
Who can stop Obama? Osama.
He is moving and inspirational. I see him being able to unite Americans. Not a single other candidate has that quality in my opinion. Americans have to mend their wounds amongst each other before we can have compromise. With out compromise nothing changes.ghettoperson wrote:

They show Obama ads religiously on BET. I wonder if its the same for Hillary on Lifetime or Oxygen.
I see Giuliani ads nearly every commercial break, no kidding. He is putting everything in Florida. I'm starting to think I have terrorist sleepers cells all around me. I stabbed my neighbor in the eye this morning because she said she didn't like bacon.
