The guy is correct.... but using this to laugh at "man made global warming" fears discredits him.... (especially after all his very scientific hypothesis introduction)
Yes the short term is not "statistically significant" but since we are talking about "man made global warming" we can only consider the time frame that man has been pushing CO2 out. That is the problem - not enough significant data!
So like most arguments on both sides of the global warming argument just using unrelated/bad data to prove pre-decided point (i.e faith not science)
Most pro global warming scientists would agree that with no extra human CO2 we would head into a natural ice-age at some point... the question is if man is making things worse!

it wasnt that hot? id say 2008 is hotter on average so far, especially in perth and adelaide at the moment! 40 degrees C average so far! (so they say on ch7)
