I think you've mistakenly been eating paint chips (lead based perhaps).
On a slightly more inane viewpoint, I stopped eating only outta the crayola 16 pack. Expand your horizons to the 64, or the 128 pack of crayola. Much broader of a selection. (try midnight black, or sea green foam)
