thats funny, i thought the friendly AI was terrible and that they mostly blocked doors and important positions behind cover. i played the whole game essentially running away from them.
True for all the other "bots"  But if you use Price as the point man (unless he tells you otherwise) and use Gaz as your backup, they work really well.
My first time through I kept getting stuck behind them in doors and halls..

Second time through, I played as if I was truly a member in their squad, and it worked great.

It was really uncanny how well Gaz covered my azz in the most hellacious firefights

One thing I learned is that Price and Gaz cannot die, you cant teamkill them either ( i don't think- my nades never seemed to hurt them).
Hell, I've seen price take two grenades, RPD rounds, and some asshole swinging a knife, while he does flinch and act hurt, he just wont die.

Maybe in the harder levels they can die, IDK.

So by letting Price take point, he absorbs a ton of the bullets that would otherwise be punching through you.  I just started getting the idea to kneel behind either of them and lean to either side while shooting... they are the ultimate human shield.

Price is a legend, he was your Captain in CoD and CoD2 as well when you were playing as the brits.

The WWII price died too, on board the Tirpitz.

I didn't really like how they brought in the same Price (well, not the same, but similair enough) that was in previous CoD's. They could've gone with someone else. He just didn't fit in to the whole SAS/Hardcore type of guy. He never was that type in the WW2 CoD's anyway...

Price was cool in CoD though, but in a different way, in an elegant officer class way.

I thought Price was left open-ended, with the Loyalist soldier doing CPR on him right before your medevac.

Edit: Also, I grabbed an RPG from a dead Russian on the bridge and fired at the Hind. No luck; I'd aimed it perfectly but the missile just kind of went straight for a while and veered 30 degrees right. Oh well.

Except Soap, and I don't even want to know how someone gets a nickname like that.
My father was called Soap.  The first four letters of our last name is "Lava," which is a brand of soap.  Hence the nickname "Soap."

you can blow up the heli as there is an achievement for doing it

edit: apparently Price is voiced by the guy who was Don Beech in 'The Bill'
