OK, if this has been asked/said before I apologise, but I did search a bit...

Does Battlerecorder (BR) only start recording when the round starts?
And does it instantly make a bookmark in the Community tab when the round ends?

I'm pretty sure once the round begins.

and if the server has BR enabled once the round is over it should be on the community tab :O

Battlecorder does start at the beginning of a round (only if the minimum players are present for an actual game)

The community tab will auto update when you play BR enabled servers.

Yes. Unless the server admin begins the recording during the round.

Yes... as long as the url specified in the server settings is valid.
I believe there are a few reasons why this bookmark does fail to work sometimes though.
Also... dont count on the file being available forever.
when the round ends, you better get the file immediately if you really want it.

You don't know (well you could guess..) how many times I have gone onto a server expecting the BR file to show up in my Community tab, and then it never show up. Reeealllly annoying if you are desperate for a BR view of a kill or something.

I think you have to be present at the round end for it to bookmark properly.
Some servers have their tag set showing that they have it running, but their url isn't set right.
You pretty much have to know what servers have it running properly, play there,
and make sure you download immediately after the round.
You can even do this between rounds without disconnecting from the server.

I agree w/ safrguns. The majority of the servers bf2 recorder is not set up right so you gotta find the servers that have it.

I find TV2 servers are the only ones you can really trust for decent BR files...

It Probably says something like the file could not be found on the server.
This is because after so long, demo files are deleted to save resources.
Make sure you download the demo file immediately after the round, or sometime soon after.
