[CoD4] Headshots

Headshots seem to be what the game revolves around for the majority of your playtime (or at least after you reach a certain point).
These can be quite a hassle to get and take a long time to achieve.
Does anyone have any tips for getting those headshots? What are the best loadouts of perks etc.?

Please feel free to list the perks/attatchments that help/hinder getting those crucial headshots.
Or give experiences you've had with achieving headshots.

B. Silencer + UAV Jammer + Dead Silence
C. Learn to sneak.
D. Sneak up on people and Headshot them.

Never fails. Also works with Knives.

Hehe yeah. I love this tactic. Headshotting someone after sneaking up on someone is most gratifying.

Also, as an afterthought, is it just me or does Stopping Power add recoil? Because recoil is a bitch when trying to get those headshots. The weapons I'm having most trouble with seems to be the shotties/SMG's.

And when you are done trying the "right" way ...... there are 24/7 Shipment servers to get those last annoying headshots on weapons you really don't like to use much.

Red dot on all but snipers, on snipers i find the original aim better than the Acog when there are many foes around.

Wait behind the line ..............................................................

It's just you. Use my way though, and you won't even have to worry about recoil.

This is how i got my gold AK, apart from the M14 which you use a red dot sight as its as good as a sniper rifle.

Hehe yeah. It's what I've been playing. Unfortunately it ends up a campfest and I suck at camping.
I was playing before and got three headshots with my AK-47 in three bullets in three seconds.
Hardcore is bloody fun.

No real need to try for headshots tbh...this is not CS, players can hop and prone and generally spaz out to avoid it. On top of that you can kill with 2 chestshots with a deagle/ak and a headshot with many guns is not an instakill either so what's the point?
