Whats needed to become 1 star or 2 stars?

Hey guys... I am going to reach 1.8k pretty soon @ of what I am playing.. but am afraid that i might not get any rank..but i am missing the Veteran Ground Defence Badge... can anyone tell me if I can get promoted without that badge ? ... Any help would be greatly appreciated !

You cannot, you have to get the veteran Ground Defense Badge, good luck on getting it

Ever played EF Op. Smoke Screen 32 with the South Village flag? The missile emplacement nearby is pure win on both teams!

You can hit incoming tanks, FAVs (shoot at then when they're going away from ya, never fails) from the MEC uncap and any dopey infantry (EU team).

You can fend off enemy advancements, but the smoke and odd angle handicaps you (MEC team).

Better off being EU and owning that TOW/HJ-8.

yes go commander and get in gunner thing and arty kills count as those kills

Having FuShe as your most played map warrants a +1.

Sharqi + Mounted LMG on either the TV station (for the cliff) or the one at the front looking on the hill the that the MEC rush should get you it.
The LMG in the tower overlooking the Beach (?) flag on MassD on IO also works very well. Failing that....commander+arty.

Devils Perch was pretty easy going for GD, the tower mounted mg half way up the hill and the TOW at the bottom are perfact for racking up kills.

Wooohooo!!! .. .i got it finally.. i got it in Jalalabad.. had to mount the LMG near market .. what rank will i get now ??... Brigadier or Major General ??... Damn if I could get the Brigadier General Rank... Dont you guys find it deadly/good looking ?????

You will not keep the Brig.Gen rank. You have too many hours built up already. When it comes time for you to rank up, you will be awarded 1 star upon the points, and since you have more hours than the 1 star range of 1250-1440, your next points after ranking up to 1 star will be another rank up to 2 stars. And then 3 stars at 200k. After that, your point meter goes to 1,000,000. Good Luck.

I always just whore the sharqi hotel TOW. It's especially good when you capture it as MEC -- you can take out the cobra indefinitely. My record is five kills with one shot (Hotel to TV station killing the cobra, lolz).
