Ok, funny story to share. So today is Christmas eve, and i got suckered into working this morning. As some of you know, from previous posts, I work at Quiznos, but that's fairly beside the point. Anyways, it was just me and my manager today. He was ringing up some lady while I was wrapping her sandwhich and as he finishes up with her, he says "Happy Holidays". She stops dead in her tracks, turns and looks at him and says, (something along the lines of) "You know what? That just offended me. I'm sick of people being politically correct and wishing me happy goddamn (<-- she said that to my manager! ) holidays" So my manager apologises and tells her that we're supposed to be politically correct to customers and whatnot. Well, they started talking and eventually the woman brought up something she heard from somewhere, apparently by 2016, Santa Claus will be changed to s skinny guy because he promotes a poor image for children. I mean, comon! When is enough enough? I for one am personally sick of this political correct bullshit and wholly agree with that woman. What's your opinion?
