If you look at my stats, I am a corporal but I have exceeded 2,500 points, which makes me a Sergeant. BUT, Battlefield 2 has not given me the next level yet. At the bottom of my stats page it even says, 100% to Sergeant in the "Time to Advance" area. Am I missing any badges or have anything else missing that is stopping me from advancing? Please help! Thanks!
Go on a server, get a point (kill assist, kill, heal etc.), and you will rank up.

Also mate, I've found the weekend is the worst time for any type of promotion...badge/rank/ribbon etc. Takes a long time to update and i've had various awards never register if i get them at the weekend. Lots of bf2 traffic going on.
thanks everyone, yeah i went on and threw 1 grenade, made the kill, and the promotion popped up instantly. and by the way, i have a unlock sitting there waiting for me, and im not sure which one to pick. I've already gotten the sniper unlock and the assault unlock, i was thinking i would get either the special forces or the support unlocks, but im not sure...any suggestions please??
Depends which kit you use, everyone has their own preference. Some say you use an unlock you're a "nub". I disagree. I see wake is your fav map so I'd go with the Spec ops gun, that G36 pwns in my opinion. If you look at the top of this page ^^^ there's a "wiki" link, it explains what unlocks are good for what.
