Personally, I like the M1A2, but it needs updated. We started development directly after Vietnam believe-it-or-not. The Gulf War was the first war after Vietnam (Besides the Cold War.) so that was it's testing ground. To put it simply, it pwned.
All you can argue, "Oh, but the Leopard II is much better!" No, it's statistically better; it hasn't proven itself yet, and I doubt it ever will with only a handful of countries purchasing them; Austria, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden and Spain.
Basically, the M1A2 is a battle-tested tank that has proven it's worth time and time again; the Leopard II hasn't proven itself, the T-class has proven itself... to get it's crew killed.

Much of the Abrams specs are still classified. That list doesn't mean very much.
Doesnt matter what tank is better. It's all about the crew. A smart tactical crew can rape any tank if a couple retards are driving the opposite tank.
