I have tried to launch the game after installation (hopefully in right order ) but nothing happens. The blue circle spins for a second and then nothing? I have reinstalled it again and again same shit. The correct disc is in the computer. Can i play BF2 with Vista.......So close to unlock my last weapon so i need help.

Yea, try running it as a administrator. Right click on the icon or shortcut.

Should work mate, i run bf2 on vista premium, 32 bit. Right click on "play battlefield 2", click "run as administrator" and it should boot up. You only have to run it like that once. I never had your problem though, i could always play just got kicked by pb. Maybe try doing some virus scans or cleaning up your hard drive. I dunno. good luck

Just bought the pc 2 days ago. So it hopefully there wouldnt be any virus on my computer. I have tried everything you told me to do but it dosent work. F..k

you know i had a problem once where i couldnt get bf2 or 2142 to work on my vista business edition.  i then gave up, and reinstalled the OS, and gave it another shot...and it worked.  if worse comes to worse and you really want to play bf2, reinstall vista.  I'm guessing that my issue was a corrupted installation of vista...

I'm guessing its a pre built, and it probably has integrated graphics. You're fucked until you buy a graphics card, if that is the problem.

I have no idea while pre built companies still don't include a graphics card. I've upgraded at least five of my friends computers with graphics just to play battlefield. Their parents keep on buying Dell and HP shit and don't know they're getting owned big time. At least I get cash from the upgrades .

Because it keeps them cheap and only a small percentage of users would take advantage of the additional cost.

That said, pre-built sucks. They could at least get onboard nVidia or ATi like lappies. Very inexpensive and performs shedloads better than Intel EXTREME!!!1! Graphics.


And all I had to do fer BF2 was Run as Administrator.

Yes it´s a pre-built. But it is no cheap shit. My specs:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ 3.0 GHZ Socket AM2
MSI K9N SLI Platinum nForce 570 2xGblan DDR2
Memory Corsair Value S PC5300 DDR2 2048 MB
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 500M 640MB GDDR3 PCI-Express

I have tried it all. Is there anything i can do before i install the game. Put the DVD in and before i go arrange it to run as admin??
My other games runs without no probs at all.
