well i think the poll sums it up... i ask this cuz i looked at the D&ST hall of fame and noticed everyone on it were the ones constantly arguing and bashing peoples ideas...

I'm pretty sure arguing over the internet will not get you "fame". I am almost certain you have to have well thought out post that refrains from bashing a person instead, keep your thoughts on the actual topic...or something like that.
The criteria are as follows:-
=> You must definitively show which side you are on. No flexibility or crap.
=> You must present your arguments in paragraph format, with each paragraph being no less than 30 words.
=> You must present links, sources or quotations in at least 2/3 of all posts.
=> You must utilize past and present events as well as the 2007 Edition Oxford University Level Dictionary (unless English is your third language, in which your posts must be comprehensible in 5 minutes).

Arguing has such a negative connotation. Actually, I'd call it "enhanced debate."
I'll never get in either and I have been posting there for about a year and a half. Nothing I say makes sense though. Well, apparently 227 times it did, not a very good ratio though. Vote for me.
