love it. big + is of course the graphics (so a good rig is a + point)

who here plays with the female voice "maximum armor" etc? compared to the male voice it sucks lol

my only complaint is the SP game is too short, and spray n pray works a little too well. otherwise its a solid shooter, with never ending ways to take down enemies. my favorite is throwing the red barrels at jeeps...

I bought this for about 2 quid from Steam during the sales, graphics are nice. Well actually the foliage is rendered like shit no matter what settings you used, but once it becomes all snowy the game looks really good. Also underwater and some other bits like inside the Alien building with the zero gravity is awesome.

Jungles/forests and large view distances is not this game engine's forte, though.

I got upto the bit where I'm fighting the giant enemy crab on the aircraft carrier. It seems like a tedious boss battle that I can't be bothered to do. So that's that...

In terms of graphics it is absolutely awesome.
In terms of gameplay it is pretty meh-ish. Warhead had somewhat better gameplay imo.
But then again I did like the story.

So my conclusion: was worth it. Atleast the singleplayer. I never really bothered with the multiplayer.

Bought it retail when it first came out, and then again on a Steam sale. Worth that much? Not sure. But still a very fun game that I enjoyed a lot. And I have not touched the multiplayer, nor will I ever.

Same exact purchasing process and enjoyment/thoughts of Warhead.

I never understood all the hate. It´s a solid shooter, not really innovative story, but challenging and fun gameplay, nice graphics, good play time. First time floating through the alien hub left me in awe.

I play it regularly every few months or so, singleplayer that is, never bothered with MP.

I found Warhead to be a bit lacking though. All the drama felt insincere, it was quite short and lacked any real heights. The higher durability of Psycho encouraged one to go more rambo than using tactics too, although that could be seen as good and bad.

My expectations of gameplay, story, etc coming from Crytek has certainly lowered.

If it gets good reviews on those fronts though, C2 could be a great game.

Yeah.. imo if they stick with the old Formula somewhat, and not make it TOO linear (it's in the streets of a City so some linearity should be expected :p) or too "consolified" it could be good... I'm not saying the first was a perfect game, but I though it was pretty damn good :3
