You're a pretty good pilot, ZenMaster. And is that Johnny Cash I hear in one of the videos?
Yup, I listen to itunes while playing. Haven't flown in a few weeks though
lol i swear even if they upgrade the AA, just a simple loop will dodge every missiles
and i'll come back for those noobs who is staying at AA site..

Hey, if you ever want to do that private flying thing shoot me a message on xfire (RedEyes117). I'm not the best pilot, but I'm better than a lot of other people. (I average 25 kills a round with the jets.)
Peace on earth and all that, bitch!<{SoE}>Agamemnar wrote:
Zenmaster why are you listening to Tracy Chapman while playing BF2?
That is just wrong.
Question. I notice in your "Ididntforgetyou" video, you are on the USA team, correct? When you go out of bounds, you're getting an American recording. I also heard "Transmitting on this mark" and "UAV Offline". The UAV was over the Chinese territory and you could see the UAV, so I assume you were on the US side.
1) I noticed that, for one, you are flying in a MIG. So, did you hijack their plane?
2) I notice you're attacking every Helo and person leaving the carrior as well as the US island spawn. If you are on the US team...why would you do this? Why are your own teammates your enemies?

I have english only voice over
Ahh, ok.
Someone mentioned...why dont we get together and have a dogfight. The problem with that is whenever 2 experienced pilots get into a dogfight, it usually turns into a wrist turning tiresome affair. Im ranked something like 40th with an 18-1 K/D ratio and I have really noticed that pilots are getting way better than they used to be. I havent been shot down by another pilot in a long time, but by the same token....my kills dont seem to come as easy as they used too. I have a few tips that I dont wanna give away because good pilots will find them on their own, but ill give one. This one is pretty simple. When you first get in a jet, make it a point to stay alive all round. Dont take unneccesary risks that you may die from and end up waiting in line on the runway with other pilots. Those risks include trying to take a chopper out in 1 pass. Take 2 or 3 passes...who cares how many, just dont get greedy and die. Watch the minimap as you go back to reload....is a friendly jet coming the other way? If he is, dont think for a second he sees you.... just loop over the top and then reload. When you go to reload and you hear a tone and then bam youre dead......that was me.....I followed you to your airfield without giving you warning I was there. Even after you heard the tone, you continued to fly straight and drop flares....but I spammed all my missles at your poopy hole.
New Xvid Video -> FileFront : http://files.filefront.com/BF2BattleRec … einfo.html
http://rapidshare.de/files/18885525/BF2 … r.avi.html
- The video shows a quick snippet from last saturdays BF2S gaming night and it was a lot of fun. It is the first time I've used battlerecorder and I wanted to see what kind of videos it made. With no rewind, making videos is a pain in the ass! The sped up playback is fun though if you zoom out you can see everyone running around like ants.
- The video doesnt illustrate much other then what flying looks like in battlerecorder (I was flying for fun not to make a video), but battlerecorder did catch some standard maneuvers learners might want to look at.
- Sorry that it is rapidshare - I will get it on filefront when filefront returns tommorow April 25th (they are under maitenance). Until then all of my other videos are unavailable
- Patton got a lot more flying time in on those videos so if you guys are interested you might want to load them up and watch him fly as there isn't anything I know that he doesn't -> http://bf2s.com/demos/06-04-22.tar.gz. I joined late and left early last saturday unfortunately so I only flew two deaths.

defintaly will check this out as i cant fly for crap
All Files now working!
I've added my final installments:
1 entire round of Wake showing the new AA in 1.2 and how to use the new rockets (my old videos needed updating because of 1.2)
Choose a d/l server other then the first one in the list for a good d/l speed.
(389mb) Xvid & Mpeg Layer 3 Audio
http://files.filefront.com/BF2UnCutavi/ … einfo.html
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From [BF2s] Battlerecorder
(75mb) Xvid & Mpeg Layer 3 Audio
http://files.filefront.com/BF2BattleRec … einfo.html
Because filefront just came back up, try using a distrobution server other then the first one in the list. This allows you to maintain download speeds near ~320KB/s. Everyone is utilizing the first server because filefront just came back up
Like I said I took these videos to show effective use in 1.2 and also because I missed flying and wanted to try a little bit more. Hopefully, you can learn what to do and not to do from them much easier then I can explain in words!

The file is called "Zelda_-_Oracle_of_Season.gba", for some reason I don't think that's a flight video.[CANADA]_Zenmaster wrote:

These clowns are taking like 8 days to update their servers, not that you can complain when its free, but I am complaining anyway damn it! Yes, the links are all fucked up, but after Sunday they will be normal!
I started downloading the 361mb one last night but it stalled half way through.

how does using a joystick work...like-you only use it when flying right? and back to keyboard when not?
Is it me or is taking (For me) 264 hours and 34 minutes left.... (I have FIOS but it's going at about .3 KB a second out of 300+ MB)
I downloaded it myself to test - if you use the first server, everyone is on it and its suppeeeeeer slow. If you use any of the other servers you will get ~300KB/s so make sure you choose those.SaladForks wrote:

Yes you only use the joystick while flying - I keep it in my lap on maps where I may need to fly. Else it is on the floor for other maps.
I finally got to watch it.
When you're making your get-away from the USS Essex, instead of doing hard turns, just do simple barrel rolls all the way to land. Just go in a straight line doing barrel rolls. The missles will come very close but won't touch you.
Oh and... you listen to some weird music.

I'll try that but you have to remember the reason they connected there, was because I turned back for the cobra, and both essex guns were manned. I evaded two full salvos of the essex as it was, turning back, I took another two salvos and didn't make it out which is not suprising.CrazeD wrote:

The music is mostly infected mushroom - it grows on you but yes it is weird on your first hearing
