Ive been wondering if COD 4 supports standard screens as well as wide (i've only seen movies of correctly proportioned gameplay on a widescreen). I've also only played on a widescreen. im sure this is a pretty dumb question but i really need to know (getting the game soon)
Yes, but I use a 1680x1050 widescreen.
Just go to options, and change "aspect ratio" to 4:3 for normal screens.

tysm. (my friend is getting me it and i use standard screen so that would suck if my game was disproportional)
Standard is still....well standard. I don't think Ive ever heard of anything not supporting it.
Options where ?some_random_panda wrote:

I can't run anything higher than 1024 x 768 w/o an error

It's on the page after you click "options". 4th line or so.FEOS wrote:

You could probably just set the game to run at that resolution by using the extra command line parameters +szy +szx, inserting your y and x values. I used that for 2142 cause the resolution settings didn't go that high in game (which is a joke, considering 1280x1024 is actually small nowadays).FEOS wrote:

Yeah, I've been wondering if anyone has the command line stuff to put in the shortcut's path that will do the screensize, login, etc that you can do with BF2.haffeysucks wrote:
