i think there might be a fault in the requirements for the navy cross.
according to UBAR (which rox btw) you need to have 4500global hours played as USMC, now check this guy

i dont think he has 4500global hours as USMC so you might review it.
PS it might also be the same for the golden scimitar and the people's meddalion

BTW why doesn't bf2s show my basic transport badge?

This has been discussed in a various other threads -- here's the break down:

1) The awards server has been handing awards out like condoms at a porn convention. I have no idea what's going on, but something is broken.

2) You have soooo many badges that it breaks EA's new XML feed. (Basically the badges part of the data is truncated on their end) and I've notifed them about it and I am waiting for it to be fixed.

Requirements:

* IAR: 50 team points
* 400h Total time played
* 10 Best kill streak
* 8 Worst death streak

8 Worst death streak or greater is wrong

My friend (http://bf2s.com/player/45684995/) got that ribbon but his death streak is 11 !!

I think the 8 death streak is 8 and above. EA made it a point that at any time you should be able to get any award as long as you work for it. You can't get screwed out of an award.

About that whole 'Far East' and 'Mid-East' Service Ribbon, I recently found the Mid-East one sitting in my BF2HQ (no drumroll during round, etc) but I have less than 100hrs of gameplay.

So either EA's given me a free award, or the 250 hr. requirement discussed earlier is wrong.

I mean, the picture for lets say US Medic with Assault Rifle is much better now that it was before.

I would imagine so whenever he gets around too it, its not really a big priority if he does intend to. But nothing wrong with posting a request like that on its own, I dont think anyone would see it here.

The transport badge thing is weird - it says to obtain the veteran transport badge you need 50hrs of driving time, but for the expert you only need 15hrs. lol. Maybe just a typo.

99% I would say. There are a few awards that changed that I still don't have access to, additionally, there are occasionally typos that *I* make. (After all, that's a lot of freaking data to go through )

Eh, it's weird that they didn't lower the requirements for the most hardest ribbon to get - War College Ribbon.
I mean, you can get all the Veteran *something* Combat and other ribbons so easily. But not WCR?

OK put this in the catagory of "I know this is just a game but".

2nd Lieutenant is 200000 but Sergeant Major of the Corps is 250000? I know in fact in real life a Sergeant Major, especially Sergeant Major of the Corps has more influence then a lowly butter bar. But the butter bar still outranks him. Normally a 2nd Lieutenant has less then two years in service, compared to a Sergeant Major who would normally have 20+.

I see that the requirements for the basic pistol badge dropped from 7 kills IAR to 5, but the knife is still at 7. Is this true or do you not have enough information to change the knife requirements?

I believe the 2nd Lieutenent rank UBAR has there is wrong. I have 60000 points, and my bar hasn't even moved yet. And if they did indeed at more ranks rather than just the 2nd Lieutenent rank, than I am betting they would be spread out more until you reach Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps. I am guessing the ingame time to rank up maybe messed up or something because I hear others aren't going up either, so I would suggest not having 200000 as a requirement until we know for sure what it is. Unless you get info from EA straight. Just my thoughts.

Requirements:

* Rank: Master Gunnery Sergeant
* Score: 200000

By this information they have to get to 200k point wise to get to 2nd Lt. and then to 250k in order to be Sergeant Major of the Corps means you have to be Master Sergeant which means anyone that becomes 2nd LT at 200k can't become something that requires 250k ?

Sorry to be a pain. Just confused by that addition of 2nd LT with 200k points.

the requirements for time in theater is just a total of playing the maps not how long just that u have played them once I think...
I suspect these are correct and would like credit for these ribbons since u have no info on these as of yet..

I know that it is not 250 hrs of global time as I have both ribbons and about 180 hrs of play. I think that it is 150 hrs and 30 hrs in those armies as I received my Far East at about 30 hrs in that army and I was at about 150 hrs of play at the time. Some sites also state a kill streak and total kills, Island Gamers for example.
