Yup that;s what I'd suggest 2G of fast memory...
Something like OCZ or corsair try to get some 2-2-2-5 stuff if possible. money I know but good memory is probaly transferable to your next system.
the 756MB has me worried... I guess your using 3 sticks.... that would mean that your not running dual channel anymore, not good. But then again probably better than 512mb...
Regardless I'd stick with that card for a while you should be happy with it compared to the rest of the system.

I was happy when I got the RAM, but guess what...
I now have all Low and 1024x768 and tried to play on a 32 sharqi.. well it IS playable but not more, around 20 frames and some laggs from time to time. Infantry duell is free lose.
I also managed to get to AGP 8x (activated in ATI Tool). I had turned it off before. I had to update my chipset for that. After all I went on a server and it was like it was before.
All in all I started playing battlefield on 1024x768 and all low in January and at that time I had a GeForce FX 5700+ 128MB and 768 MB RAM..
Now I still play battlefield with 1024x768 all settings low, but ATI 9800+ powercolor 128MB and 1024MB (or 1280 if 256MB stick is included).. And it is almost exactly the same video CRAP: laggs and sucks
DAMN! I hate my PC and myself, who don't know how to fix this! -.-
