WTH: i noticed i have the navy cross...

when i was coming to check my stats just now i noticed that i had earned the navy cross award...
but i thought it needed 4500 hours as usa (i have ~300)
500 wins (i have ~750)
and best score as usa over 100 (i have ~200)

but still im not sure if its a glitch or ubar is wrong...

any ideas?

That has to be a glitch. When is your next BF2S.com update. See if it shows up on your stats page there, becuase I do not see it as of right now.

Maybe the requirements aren't correct then, maybe it's 450 hours? Strange. Congrats anyway! Nice lookin' medal there.

I also see you got all three each of the knife, pistol and ordinance badges. You da man!

Yeah I've seen a few guys who got their global play time messed up. It's a bug.

Do you remember anything weird about the game or server when you got the navy cross?

Actually, I'm seeing reports of awards being given out at different than UBAR reqs. This could possibly be a preclude to the patch being released (as the stats system got an overhaul for the release...)

That the second time today i see ppl with that bug... personnaly i think it a bug cuz both of them have this time in Aviator so oubliviously it must be a bug not a cheat ... unless it a cheat ....

man the whole badge thing is messed up. Either you get it when not near requirements or you meet requirements 5 times before you actually get it. I think this is why they never released the actuall requirements for each thing. Think they don't' know what you actually need

lol u people should pay more attention to whats required for somethings such as basic inf medal

Requirements:

* IAR: Play for 34 minutes
* 500h Total time played
* Awards: Basic Knife Combat Badge, Basic Pistol Combat Badge, Basic Assault Combat Badge, Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge, Basic Sniper Combat Badge, Basic Spec Ops Combat Badge, Basic Support Combat Badge, Basic Engineer Combat Badge, Basic Medic Combat Badge

says nothing there about needing basic aviator chopper or transport which is all that guy is missing? tho that players hours are wrong or hacked or something

A bug in my system until the player runs through their next update. Nothing to do with the oddness that the awards server is having giving out medals and ribbons.

Chuy, is it possible that some of UBAR's tiems are wrong? because Raxor has all the requirements for the navy cross except for the 4500 hours... but if it were 450 hours.. he'd have that. possibly?

I am fairly certain that something is wrong with the awards server. Either that or the award reqs have recently changed.

I would hope that if such a thing has happened, that EA might have made some kind of notice. But, hey, go figure.

Dont you guys remember when some of the owners of BF2 had all weapon unlocked? It was hackers that hacked the servers because they wanted to show that EA/Dice didnt do anything. They said "Wonder what we will do next time, mabey give some the medal of Valour". I think its the same guys that has hacked in to the awards server and handed out very hard medals.
