The 'Landing' is done, waiting on Gary to convert it and upload it and no, nothing will be uploaded to youtube.
So, whats the storyline behind that scene? The editing is pretty good, and you have alotta footage. But it seems odd to have all those Mec infantry shooting at a tank...Even if they are targeting USMC infantry, with that tank present...I don't know they are risking their lives for nothing maybe? Seems like a waste of guys. Perhaps, (Not that it'll be easy to redo) You could have more MEC AT. Have like a squad of 3 AT guys come over the hill, and do so much damage the tank its smoking bad. Also, with the tank retreating after being repaired, maybe you could have it do a smoke screen, and all the friendly infantry can get away alive?

Working on the Zatar tank engagement and I fucking hate it, Gary won't even ask if I have all the sounds so I have to pitch and raise every tank sound to match the different vehicles...

Re-doing the Zatar tank bit after getting a better edditing program that artists like Tiesto use.
Zatar done and what a fucking nightmare it was, good thing I had everything already converted from MP3 to WAV.

Sorry,didnt like that one tbh .Music is a bit off,doesnt suits to the scene(wtf with the rap shit),and the tank explosions are a bit...weird.They sound a bit swallow and without bass.Why dont leave the default ones?They are ok.
The machinegun sounds rock,though.Like emm .But imo they need some bass either

Great camera angles. Music was fine, I liked it. However, Im agreeing with metal on the cannon fire and tank explosions, and that they also seem short and muffled. And the tank/apc engines sound more like a moped/quadbike to me. I dont see why the BF2 ingame sounds cant be used... in some instances they are better IMO (although I do love the MG sound you got there Fox ).
BUT...for all the MG shots I was expecting ricochet sounds off of the armour of the tanks or into the swampy ground, etc.
Some filming "bloopers":
- At 34seconds, you can see a kill message appear in the top left...its very quick, but it caught my eye.
- At 37seconds, when the M1A2's start driving off, you can see the one to the left start driving...and go straight into the wreckage of the T90. Change the camera angle so this is cut out, or another way of avoiding seeing that should be done IMO.
- At 51seconds, the M1A2 is firing into the shed at the "refinery" outpost, then seconds later the BTR-90 drives straight out of that shed and the tank has magically gone!

I really like it, but the sounds e.g. from the jets and tank just don't fit with the image I think, maybe it's because I'm used to the BF2 sounds with that image, but it sounds a bit awkward.
