Well, I thought this would be a good idea and get everyone involved in something.

I was thinking of creating a chart, with all our music details - i.e the genre we listen to, the favourite bands and so on.

So we can see what is the main liking in this forum and can see suggestions of good bands and shit. Would be pretty cool to get some sexy bar charts of the BF2s' music list.

So, what do you think and how do you think it should work?

I say yes. As for how it works, I'd say just post your genre/s and band/s and you figure out a chart to use. Can't be that hard

for me, Speed Metal would be my genre, and the bands Dragonforce and Sonata Arctica top my playlists each time.

How would you want it though? First page we have the genre, then we have the bands that are listened to inside that genre. How about that?

No. As in, a chart with with the genre popularity, then a chart with the bands in certain genres. Makes it nicer to look at and easier for me.

I like Scooter, Nightiwish, and the genre bitpop. And basically everything but swedish "serious" techno and swedish "cool kidz" music.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Alrighty... How specific do you want us to be? I love Progressive Metal, and Symphonic Metal, as well as Jazz and Alternative Rock for cooling down/taking it easy. Should I be that specific with the two first ones, or should I categorize under Metal?
