The review I read (in The Register) said the new 8800GTS isn't much better than the 8800GT but it costs more.

26 FPS on high with a 1920 x 1200 resolution is DAMN good for Crysis. I get 15 FPS on Very High at 1024x768 with an 8800 GTX.
Better cooler=more overclocking. That is half the reason to get it.
Edit: That review sucks in that they compare a stock GTS to the most overclocked versions of the GTX and Ultra possible.

Just ordered four of em, 2x ASUS and 2x EVGA. Will compare to 1x8800GTX, 2x8800GTX, 1x8800Ultra, 2x8800Ultra, 1x8800GT, 2x8800GT on Q6600, E6800EE and AMD64 4000+ later this week.
I hope this cards are as fast as the hype says and I cant wait to see if they outperfom my good old GTX´s.
The EVGA prices make me wonder as a 8800GTX costs just the same nowadays. Let´s see what this things can.

Hey, I dont have to pay them at all, only if I stick with the hardware I have to, otherwise the shop will just take it back and refund me Thats why I´m lucky, thats why I have so much hardware to toy around
