Looking to play bf2 primarily but want to use it also as a TV for when I go to Japan.  Any suggestions?


Also, I'm running a radeon x700, that shouldn't have any problem displaying 1680X1050, should it?

not sure really, from what ive read the x700 was a failure.  :\ anyways 2o why not go for 25 or teh 30 inch ultrasharp dells? or maybe Samungs?.  I have a 20 inch sumsung, forgot the type though.  Dell makes great monitors but not computers.  Have fun in Japan, i went there last year for a month

Sure, I've got 2200 bucks just sitting around.  :-\  Anyone else?

Alright, I got the Dell 20.1" Widescreen LCD for $404.  Good deal, good monitor.

Theyre $439 for me o.O

But they are badass monitors, Ive got one and looking to get another. But running bf2 at 1680x1050 on a x700 is pretty iffy. Ive got a 6600GT and its definitely pushing it.

I run it at 1024x768 stretched across the screen. It looks weird at first, but id rather it look weird for a bit than get the whole black bars on the side burnt in. That actually started to happen last week after a good 6 months or so using it like that.
