Hai guyz,

Since yesterday I've started playing CoD4 online and I must say that its awesomeness. Except for one thing, the airstrikes. No its not a rant about how powerful they are etc etc, but everytime someone calls in an airstrike I get uber bad lag. FPS drops from 35-40 ish to 3 and back to 35-40 and again to 3, untill all 3 planes have flown over. Now I have no idea what is causing this, I asked around in different servers and nobody seemed to be getting this. So does anyone else get this weird shit lag and does anyone know how to fix this?
If it actually matters here are my system specs:

*AMD Athlon 3800+ @ 2.4GHZ
* nVidia 7600GT 256MB
* 2GB PC6400
* K9N n570 Force SLI mainboard.

Make sure your antivirus is not running while you are playing. This can cause lag with airstrikes because you get sent a lot of data to tell your client where the bombs are dropping, where the planes fly to / from and all the other stuff that your client is usually getting sent too.

Hey RD, maybe your card can't handle the game on high settings, so when theres arty strikes, it may lag because of that, and probably a combination, i.e the anti-virus and the card.

I know the card can't handle it on high settings. I have my texture settings @ normal and 2x AA @ 1280x1024 @ 60Hz. Low world lightning and large body count. Nothing special at all. So I am first gonna try the virus thingy and if that doesnt solve it I might have to lower my settings
