I would like to know how to manually uninstall the BF2 demo including registry entries and all things demo related. How can I find all the registry entries and/or hidden folders?
Hmmm... Local Settings should contain one... then the Documents folder, then the Program Files... Apart from that, I don't think there's anything else.
You could just search your HD for "Battlefield", and it should show all hidden folders as well.
Then, in the registry, just get rid of everything that's under EA - provided BF2 is the only EA game you have.

I have many EA games including the full BF2. Remember I am trying to remove registry entries from the BF2 demo only.
Type "regedit" in Run, then hit Enter to access the Registry Editor.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Electronic Arts>EA GAMES>Battlefield 2 Demo
Right click on that folder and hit delete.
Edit: Whoops, demo, sorry. You should be able to find the demo in that folder as well.

"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
All I have in that section are reg. entries for the full BF2. The demo is still installed so I am guessing the reg. entries are at some other locationhaffeysucks wrote:
