Photoshop to bright?

When I edit images in Photoshop there bright, but when I save them and view them on my desktop or whatever they are much darker?
Is there anyway to fix that? it kinda causes problems with my finished work.

What file format are you saving them in and what mode are you working in on PS?

It did that to me when I installed a monitor driver (yeah I know, "WHY?"). It put a colour temp in, which loaded by default. Try switching to sRGB if you aren't already.

Also as Tayner is probably prying into, PNG-8 is rendered darker in IE.

I just got the stock setting and saving as a Jpeg
sRGB is stock set
RGB 8bits

Should I be using a differant setting?

Might wanna try lowering your refresh rate that might be something. You could also reset your graphics card settings to default in your driver control panel.
