First off, let me explain what happened.

I joined a server with a clan name in it, and cannot recall the name of the clan or people. Im not here to whine or complain but just to ask if this would be considered an exploit and if it ever happens again i can report them?

So i was in a squad with 2 of the clan members, we were running along into enemy territory where we bumped into an enemy, the enemy had the same clan tag as the people in my squad. He happened to kill me then layed down beside my body with his knife out. The squad members then revived me and when that happened i got instantly killed with the knife. this happened about 8-10 times before i killed the guy with the knife. After i had killed him, my squad leader kicked me out. Now they racked up major kills with a knife and revive points. Is this considered exploiting to get points, badges, medals etc? or was i just a sucker and nothing can be done?

That's exploiting. Simplest thing to do in that case is no allow the revive (i believe if you have the respawn menu open you can't be revived, not sure about that though. Or switch teams.

I hate people who do that, its really LAME. Lame like flying your vehicle into someone else's vehicle. (eg. Flying a jet on purpose into a Black Hawk over and over because you don't know how to fly or aim.)

i had a similar thing, but thing they were just bored, coz it was teamkilling. 2 guys (own team) learking around spawn site, i guy shot my down, the other revived me, the guy would kill me again. Team only had that 1 spawn site at the time, so couldn't respawn elsewhere. Fooking idiots IMO

Well, in a case like that one, with yoru own teammate shooting you, all you can say is: thanks for the punish option, they won't do it too much more if you are in a non-forgiving mood

it is so prevalent in servers.. some of them even hog flag capture points and when you turn up, they just fire at you to prevent you from chalking up points..Morons.

there are those who initiate kicks the minute you sign in.. pisses me off..so i iniitate a kick as well on the same asshole who did that to me.. simply ruins the game..

I'm from a BFV stable and there was serious mussuse of helo's for base raping but our clan ruls was that this was only prohibited from the main bases (as this was where vehicles spawned) until it was the last enemy base. I'm very glad to see that the helo's in BF2 are more realistic and so raping is not so possible.

A lot of people would say that a base was being 'raped' because a good sniper was getting kills, or a mortar (God I miss the mortar) was barraging etc, but for my money this was what they were there for and given that there are multiple spawn points at (typically) multiple locations I don't have a problem.

Am I being innocent here? What do you guys consider base raping?

True, hit enter, pick a spot and hey presto, shiney new clothes, a re-stock of ammo and you're good to go. Funny to watch them try to revive you though for the 10-15 seconds --^--^--^-------- They're doing a favour but sometimes end up getting killed themselves.

When i teamkill someone it's always a accident, sometime the guy had a red nametag. and i killed him with my sniper. that's an accident. And people who punishes for accidents are idiots!

now you can't always say that that isn't a accident. it's happened to me before (twice in a row) I'll pull up and they'll lift up at the exact same time resulting in me hitting them. or I'll go below them and my tail will catch the edge. when it hapened to me it was the same pilot and he got all pissed like I was purposely doing it. I apologized but he kept calling me a whole bunch of names and crap. just next time think before you flip out on somebody.

as for what happened to the topic maker.. this happened to me before... I did the same thing you did.. but luckily I killed them before they reached that high of a number.

The best thing you can possibly do is let them kill/revive you a few times, once their names are all over the screen take a screen shot. Then get out of it by suiciding or preventing a revive other ways. Leave the server when you are finished and upload the screenshot over on the bf2rankedservers.com forums (first pic in my sig is a link...) the bastards will have their stats reset and be taught a bit of a lesson hopefully.

I had this happen once too, can't remember the clan that was doing it though. After about 5 revives, I managed to get a grenade out and drop it. Blew myself and the two guys up. We all had a laugh about it. I don't think they did it regularly, but it is a well known way to trap people and get some points, after that one video.

From a personal point of view. I don't care what my rank is, I just love playing this game, it's been a real distraction from all the other crap that's going on. As for stats/points, they all come with time and a little expertise.
Stat padding is frowned upon by just about everyone/server(ranked), it's pointless, it doesn't determine skill or accumen, it's just that, padding. Go out and kill a few bad guys, slug it out, and if you're being killed at a spawn point, choose another point, if it's the last point, be creative, as soon as you spawn.... run like hell, that's creative right;)

2 Things.

1) I was on a server: Gulf of Oman today and it was not great, shot all jets out of the Blue.
BUT... I got all negative points so I joined MEC... same thing.. I hit the enemy and points go down.
Now sorry but that is just wrong, anybody info on that?

2) Yesterday I was on a server being the commander... I scan... I see... 3 enemies and 3 buddies... standing near artillerie... artillerie down... artillerie repaired 1 kills the other while another revives, etc.etc.
Great fun being the commander giving orders and there is a party going on and I AM ON THE ESSEX!
