Gee, here's a crazy idea: Why not respect your parents authority and not go behind their back? Give it a few weeks/months and check back with them on occasion to see if they have changed their minds. Also, see if you could put in a good word with a relative to get it for you for Christmas, since they were going to get you a gift anyway, and then your parents might let you keep it since it was a gift.
