ok i have an avatar i made and it has transparency (PnG) but i cant get it under 10 kb any suggestions?

i cant really think of much... try setting canvas to the forum color.

if i do somehow get loggd out i have a text file that has all my weird names saved
Place the avatar as an image... I'll see what i can do
It's like 12 kb. ty for the help guys.
Maybe not as pretty, but it should do the job.

@radioactive: i'm guessing all they did was convert it to a tighter compression format; that, or they lowered the save quality slightly.

If your using Photoshop
Go File>save for web
Change the settings of the PNG-24 to PNG-8 i think it is, (Not Open) And select the one of the four squares to the left, most likely the one under under 10kb,lol, mine is a PNG and is under 6kb.....

Most users use the Photoshop Save for Web feature which drastically reduces the size of an image.
Ah, I see. I should probably get around to learning/obtaining Photoshop, mspaint just isn't cutting it anymore
I did mine in Paintshop Pro 6
That beeing said,, it is not the best quality image atm,, neither was the original ...
But it's only 2.3kb
