im a chronic K/D whore. ill get really pissed off if i cant get >maybe 2.5 kd in IO. if i start slipping below 2 ill change to assault or sniper just to fix it. its not that i care about my overall stats, i hadnt checked them the entire time bf2s was down, but i know i should do better and i dont want a bad start to a round to just lead to me ragequitting later on.

But ill gladly spend entire rounds in a jeep, parked on hills shooting at choppers that may come past. sure i get a pitiful KD, but i dont care if im not trying.

Also anyone here with most time as medic, on IO and DOESNT claim to play for KD, is flat out lying.

I like to get a good KD. When I was a still noobish playin on my 2 star account I used to never go below 3:1 on any map. If I did, I'd just do what DJbrown does, go sniper, get it back up, and then continue medic whhoring.

But with todays crowd that plays bf2...it ain't hard to get a 6:1....

It becomes an addiction....

'Its a stats forums' - Shows what you're interested in Maybe if you ventured out of the BF2 section and stopped bragging about your average stats for someone who has played so long, you would see that BF2s and the BF2 section is more than a stats forum.

I have to admit that I play a lot for my k/d more than anything else now, that and playing with my friends. I'm a good player overall with any kit and/or vehicle with a k/d of 2.3887 and it just keeps going up recently so I'm happy with it. Sure it doesn't show how I play but still a good factor to know it someone is good.

if i get less than a 2:0 kill/death ratio in any game i consider myself palying badly, but then i almost never get less than 2:0 kdr, prove me wrong.
