It occured to me these things appear in the darndest places.  I saw one in the lobby of the high-rise building on Sharqi.  Another one on top of the barbed wire on the fence.  I'll post some of my screen shots later tonight.  What strange places have you seen them?  Please post 'em if you've got 'em.

Cheers!

edit:  I'm not complaining about where to find them mind you, we all know that's coming in the next patch with the map indicators or whatever.  This is just the start of another "funny screen shots" thread.  Hopefully ()r@ng3 has some good ones!  Show us your boxes, upload your funny screenshots, screen shots here!

How in the world did it get inside the building?!

They need to have some kind of sencor for it. Cuz there has been many of times i needed ammo or health and the commander sent the supply box and i couldnt find it and i died.

Once I was sniping at FuShe Pass at one of the center flag's high towers with ladders, and I got crushed by a well placed supply drop by the enemy commander.

Quite nicely done, because the supplies won't go exactly where you pointed.

I was flying in an attack helicopter as the gunner and a supply drop was coming down. The supply drop hit the top of the helicopter blowing us both up. That was the first time I was ever killed by a supply drop.

I once was killed by a supply drop that was sliding ever so gently down a hill and rolled right over me...

If you want to know how much I play as commander, look at my stats. So I think I have a right to weigh in on this. Most of the time, as a good responsible commander, I zoom in so my drops are precision, but when I'm in a hurry (like being shot at or something) I've put them on rooftops, down gorges, in the ocean, on top of oil drums, in dumpsters, stuck in trees, so on and so forth. Either way, usually mine are pretty damn close to the targeted area. I love giving them to sniper teams on rooftops, I find they're the most appreciative.

BTW, one time I accidentally hit the arty button instead of the supply button and dropped arty on top of my entire team... needless to say they weren't happy. But I made it up by giving them the requested supply drop and then retiring as commander for that round to get my team pts. back up from -30 something.

LOL, as commander, I have done this a few times when arty was not ready or needed somewhere else. It always gets me to LMAO

If you practice supply box placement, you can just-about put it anywhere you want. What I have found is that many commanders will just not take the time to zoom in before he/she deploys.

Sometimes when dropping arty on an aircraft carrier, I'll drop a box right where it's gonna hit.  It usually attracts a few guys to it...even though they just spawned and haven't used up any of their inventory yet!  They still flock to the crate like moths to a flame.  Is that wrong?

some nice ideas there guys.  Now I only need to remember them!   I have to say that it gets really really annoying when your commander does not respond to a request for supplies.  I act as either a sniper or assault.  My first experience on Assault was on Karkand and I got into a nice wee spot and founf supplies being dropped without request to a successful 31 kills! that was brilliant   (mostly using the grenade round)

I have not been commander too often, but supplies is a MUST!  Especially when you have a squad capturing a flag

Not meant as a commander's guide to drop supply boxes.  I'll post some pics in a couple of hours, still at work right now.  You'll see what i mean then.  Posted. Enjoy!

I got crushed by one whilst hiding in the 'indents' that are on either side of the bridges at the rear of SAK. It was a pretty snug fit.

My brain only lets me hear "Suprise requested at this position".  Been tempted to drop some arty a few times, figure that would be pretty suprising.  One of those crates full of fish would be better but you don't seem to be able to drop them - a shame really.

Am a Noob at commanding.  When someone requests a supply drop, how do you tell where they are?  I have gotten shot trying to figure it out...

I was a commander and sent supplies to myself.  (Karkand), so the supplies are coming down twards me (/me moves out of way) the supplies hit a tree, go off at some weird angle, and I die anyways...

the only reasonable explanation i can think of for those supplu drops being inside a frekin building is that there was a glitch which caused supplies 2 go through the ROOF !!!!!!! , lol .....Transparent Roof

Ya I always push em to better spots if I'm in an apc or tank, you have to be gentle but it is handy. No idea how the crate got all the way inside the tv tower tho, vehicles couldn't have pushed it that far.

one of my fave tricks as commander is to drop supplies right on a tank .. and the tank carries it around .. only managed it two or three times. M1A2 btw the T98 is too small.
