'Cause then there was this boy whose
Parents made him come directly home right after school
And when they went to their church
They shook and lurched all over the church floor
He couldn't quite explain it
They'd always just gone there'

What the fuck does this mean?

I dunno, to be honest I've never got that song. It seems to be about kids having terrible experiences maybe for the last verse they couldn't think of anything decent so did this one that doesn't quite make sense. From what I understand his parents went psycho when they went to church... God knows what that has got to do with coming directly home right after school.

Fanatical Christians sometimes are touched by the lord so strongly that they
dance and hoot and fall down and jump up. It's pretty crazy to say the least.
I've seen it here in America. They like to play with snakes too!

Stigmata.

My mother had relative that said they spoke in "tounges" as mentioned in the bible. This neighbor once also had one of these seizure style fits as mentioned. Silly.

I like that song though it reminds me of when I move to Richmond.

See I first thought it was maybe about having an epileptic fit. but it is kinda random and don't think that is worse than having birth marks all over your body, or even having white hair at a young age. I mean having to come directly home after school? most kids of a young age have to do this. And what happens in the church I am sure stays in the church so no one outside of the church is going to know about this.

bit random i know, but the song just played on the radio.

While we are derailing the CTD:

My most favorite song of all times (haven't found the original clip yet, so the visuals are a bit crappy).

A reference to evangelical churchs in the Southern US.  Nobody else really "gets it" either.

Read all about it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentecostal_Church

This is another major difference between Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians, who believe that a Christian baptized in the Holy Ghost may exhibit certain supernatural signs, including speaking in tongues, "being slain in the spirit" (where people fall to the ground as if asleep or in convulsions), prophecy (i.e., a vision or a word of God, spoken or felt in the spirit), miraculous healings, miraculous signs, etc.
I had to grow up in a small town full of these retards.

Yup, it's a reference to 'Shakers'...

They're an interesting sect if you're at all interested in that kind of thing - many parallels with Sufism, Shamanism and many other early, 'primitive', belief systems and rituals.
