Afaik if you are near a flag there can sometimes be a bug which keeps you from taking it. Your flag will be there but if you look at the map it still belongs to the other team and they can still spawn there. Dunno if it has been addressed in one of the patches already though cuz I havent seen this bug in a while.

There is a bug that shows the progress bar for capturing a flag all the time even when your outside the flag capture radius, was that it?
I know only the flag-bug that allows you to neutralize the flag, and raise your teams flag up but it never turns to your team it always stays neutral...

I hate the one mentioned above where the progress bar is always there for a flag but you are nowhere near it.
Yup thats it... I have had it happen many times to me. Not sure how it happens but most of the time I am in radius taking the flag and get killed in radius. At next spawn the count down timer to turn the flag is still there as if you have a ghost at the flag capturing it no matter where I go on the map it continues to count down. It does go away if you attempt to capture another flagKobrakai wrote:

Its a bug not an exploit, you dont use it it happens.
I had it ones, got a assist point for neutralising and capture.

Thats weird in whatever language that was (German??) it had the weapon used to kill with last. Usually it in between the two persons names...

Wanna see a real "flag bug"?
Check this out:
Check the teams the flag pole the signs the minimap... that was wierd - We never captured that flag. Actually I cant even remember who's flag it was

Usualy I go down the hill there to atack the High building flag, tried the spot 3 more times and it did not work.
Must have been a one time thing.
Ztrooper posted a picture, it concerns the same flag weird, must be something with that flag.

i dont know what the fucking flag bug is.
Also happened to me in BF2:SF atltough it seems russian i can spawn there.(i actually spawn there and take the apache)
