My main beef is him defending using hacks on online servers. Boredom is not a valid argument. If someone wants to use cheats in single player, fine. But using cheats in multiplayer games, ranked or not, is lame. There is no glory. There is no bragging rights. You are not the one doing the work. Why even play the game if you aren't playing it for the fun/challenge. Some will argue that using cheats is fun because you are constantly winning, but that is a farce. You aren't the one winning and there is no challenge.

Also, "it's just a game" is one of my pet peeve sayings. It's a cop out used by too many people to excuse problems in the gaming industry. It's used to excuse poor coding, poor support, poor performance, etc. It's a product. The money most people pay for it is very real. The paychecks people get are very real. It needs to be treated like any other piece of software. It's also one of the most commonly used saying by people who cheat. People who get off on ruining the fun of others. People that spend real money on a game and then go out of their way to not actually have to play it.

And what of the other side of this 'coin', lame/dumbass players who use shout to all to accuse others of cheating? I just got accused of wall glitching on Karkand (sniping from that building that lets you cover the plaza and the suburb). Check my stats, if I'm owning your dumb ass, then you really, really, really suck. Point is if there's a way to cheat, someone's bound to try and exploit it. The only thing you can do as a legit player is sit back, crack a cold one, and wallow in the smug satisfaction that you know you really earned each point and every award... Nuff said from me

No, that's crap, why should a player leave if the other person is hacking, that makes no sense at all. There is a reason that these hacks don't come as options with the retail version of BF2, so why should i spend all my time jumping from server to server because of hackers? A solution perhaps would be to have a server where hacking is allowed, so that way everyone knows where they stand and it isn't unfair to those who want a nice, clean game.

On our Bf2 server we had a "bitch" list what showed the banned players. You know the in game massages.
