Yes... try the link.

I was wondering if anyone on this forum had read it and what they thought ...escpecially those that were in Iraq. Based on the reviews it seems like a good read. Maybe I should wait for the movie???

I'm just wondering, in your opinion do you think it's pro-war, anti-war, or a bit of both?

I have not read it but i wonder whats in it.  I know that every soldiers experience is a little different than anothers.  God knows thats the case if your accidentally drink some of the water over there....oh man that will give you the runs for about 2 days straight.  Felt sorry for the guy watching him run back and forth in sweats.  Actually not sure if it was the heat, cold sweats, or a mix of both.  There were times where some soldiers got in their kevlar and then made like cushioned weapons. Lol one guy wrapped a bunch of duct tape around a bat then put empy m-16 cases on it to look like a spiked club.  You can do some stupid shit from boredom out there. Another was in the showers when the base started getting mortared...he ended up butt ass naked in his kevlar with his ammo belt and rifle at his post.  Didn't even get dressed just went to his post like that.  Lol he could have tea bagged the wounded terrorists all too easily.  But like i said its just one soldier's opinion of the tour he went through.  Not everyone sees it as he might have.
