I need recommendations for a good power supply that will work with this mobo which has a 24-pin connector on it and I don't know squat about PSU brands.  I'm helping my uncle by building a computer for him, it will be my first full computer build ever.

Gotta be a little more specific, what are you gonna be using the computer for, etc. I could recommend my 700W OCZ that has 4 spereate power rails, but if hes just gonna be using it for internet browsing, that'll be over kill.

I know of Newegg, that's where i'm looking.

I'm going to have 1 disk drive, 1 hard drive, 1 ATi card that doesn't require an external power connection(Yeah I found that pretty strange since I haven't seen any in a while that don't require that)

Any one would be fine - just don't use the Iraqi power supply - it only works a few hours a day and completely shuts down three times a week

Can I just confirm that most ATX PSU's are 150x140x86mm? Because i just ordered one, and my old PSU was exactly that (if it's even 1mm bigger on the height then i'm screwed) and damn it to hell if it isn't 150x140x86mm and it's imperial unit equivalent!
