A knife kill teaches people to watch their back. Or to buy a good surround sound system.
It's absolutely hilarious on Great Wall when enemies are still sitting on the wall when they've already lost the spawn point and you spawn right behind them.

Humiliation is the best reason.

Ah, If I don't feel like a knife kill as an engineer, I do sorta the same thing. But instead of crouching beside him, I jump over him (granted he's not on the edge of a building), prone right in front of him, and behead him with my shotgun before he knows what has happened. I can't imagine the face of the guys when they are sitting peacefully, suddenly some smuck leaps into their sights inches away and destroys him.Cyrax-Sektor wrote:

I love running at someone with a knife when they are reloading because they couldnt kill me with one clip.

And of course- spawn campers who lay prone near a spawn point.
