right i have started to have a problem with my pc.

this can  happen at anytime i am on my Pc. the computer stops what ever i am doing and puts me to the blue screen of death and says something about my computer preparing for crash dump and then after a while it says something along the lines of physical memory failure.

my question is this problem common and if so how would i go about fixing it.

my specs are: intel C2D e6400 @ 2.13 Mhz(?)*
                      2 gb crosshair ram 664(?)*
                      Nvidia 7900GS

*(?) im abit of a computer retard so im not sure what figures these are

I'm assuming you mean a Memory Dump. Your CPU speed is 2.13GHz (Gigahertz) and your RAM is at speed 667(MHz) and is probably Corsair - are you on Vista? The problem does happen sometimes.

Just make sure you are patched (application wise) etc and so on. I haven't experienced memory dumps in a few weeks now.
