Ive seen so much shit about the hype of the tech section so i thought i might ask you guys for some help. I want to get a good gaming mouse, i was thinking of a G5, but i was also thinking of the MX revolution. My mates say the G5 is some good shit for gaming, with the weights and that stuff.

What do you guys think i should get, not something that is so expensive that i might have to sell my kidney.

Of those choices, G5 easy. Personally I'd take a Razer over Logitech because of the software.

EDIT: New modle G5 obviously.

The mx518 and G5 are almost identical feature-wise.

Razer makes a really good mouse too.

Also, apparently Logitech has a G9 in the works.

...my best recommendation is to go to your nearest computer store and use each one. See how they fit your hand. The Razer mice are way, WAY too small for my hands. The G5 fits it almost perfectly.

My Intellimouse keeps me alive. It all depends on your grip though, whether you like to cusp the entire mouse in the palm of your hand, or keep it under a claw-grip.
