What is the best military branch?

I guess you never heard of the "Moscow Strike"... yeah... didn't think so...

edit: Tjocka, that's a job for those idiotic politicians and really everyone... if people like Hitler never got into power, WWII wouldn't have happened. And likewise, if people like Bush didn't get into power, we likely wouldn't be in sunny Iraq.

I work at Edwards AFB in California. I'm not in the Air Force, but from what I've seen, the Air Force are the laziest, most pampered branch of the military. Camp Pendleton is about 2 hours from here, and when I went down there to visit some friends (who happen to be Marines, and happen to work on Cobras ), I could tell that the overall happiness and general vibe you get from everyone on the base was better. People ask me why I'm joining the Marines instead of the Air Force or something "safer". It's not safety or anything else like that, it's the incredible bond that Marines have, that no one really understands, except them. They have a true love for what they do, and they do it well. I think the Rock said it best (in Doom)... "Semper Fi - Mother Fucker!"

I voted for Marines, btw..

Oh god, I'd hate to be stuck in one of those things for a 4 month deployment or whatever... I'd go mad and have conversations with the fish.

edit: Also, in all seriousness, gotta give props to the USCG... they don't seem to get a lot of recognition (I didn't even know they were a military branch, I figured it was in the same category as the secret service or FBI police)

i cant really answer which is the best. all of them have their strong points. i have friends in the marines and the army right now, my grandfather and his 2 brothers were all navy and my uncles were airforce and navy....so ive seen all of it.

i voted air force anyway because thats where im headed after i finish up this last year of college.
