Best Buy Scar 11 (Yes I Searched)

Hello all, after a recent round of Camp Gibralter i came across the Best Buy version of the Scar 11...it was amazing. ye si am aware it takes up 1/2 the screen has no real benefit or upgrade, but i would like to have this weapon. If anybody has one of the old codes from the game realease that ha snot been used ( i know its a long shot) may i please have it? In return...nvm im a poor college kid so i could give you...macaroni. I don't know if you'll find anyone who still has an unused one. Check Ebay for some. Your chances of finding one are very slim though. Good luck on your hunt.

lol ill be sure to shrink it, lordy lordy i never sin again! and ya i know im tkaing a huge shot in the dark with this one, but do u think that i could modify my own files to fit the best buy version without a code... actully on second thought id be PB'ed instantly wouldnt i...o well the hunt moves onward lol.

It's a separate weapon, not just a skin. You'd never get on a server in the first place.

I honestly don't know. I'm not sure how BF2142 detects which skin to load upon startup. It must be something that gets set up every time you log into the game. I don't think you could trick the game, but I really don't know. I think custom skins count as modified content, which means you can't join PB streaming servers.

Any codes will no longer work. The only way you could get it would be to get someone's account that already has it.

Heh, I've managed to pick that bad-boy up a couple times before... Would've made a nice unlock rather than a marketing gimmick.

Sure.

But it would have to be better than the stock to make up for the time/effort to unlock it and the fact that it covers almost your whole screen. (but looks cool)

Not really, jsut need a unique feature about it, all the unlocks in 2142 are pretty balanced, their all just unique. For instance, the snipers, Lambert if full auto, while the Zellar can destroy claymores/turrets/mines/etc with a single shot. Just give it a better scope then stock and it would be worth it, glad I registered at Best Buy, it is indeed awesome.

Thats the reason i would like to have it too, simply the awsome factor. Looks good, sounds good, good scope, and that rocket loading system is...i love you.

Stay with the stock Scar 11 your better of with it. The BestBuy Scar users I know hate it and refuse to use it becaouse of the size and the fact that the crosshair when your iron sighted is a lil bit off center.

Fark, half your screen is covered with the thing. Good luck spotting enemies, im sure they will spot you no problem though

Well I picked it up a couple of times besides the flashy look the rate of fire and recoil is excaly the same. You might not have problems with it probably got used to it. I use the standard scar and does not block my view.
