Good, once you said it was basalt I could see what it was. But when I first viewed it I wasn't sure.
It's good though, The color scheme looks good to me. i like the color you used instead of black, it doesn't create such a contrasting look.

main issue is what many have said, the image is off center within the white.

Try changing the colour of the 3rd line, it is hard to see.

I tend to agree, I'd have gone with all grey, maybe a really slight tinge of blue, also the top of the picture is kinda dead space I'd try doing something with it.

No, the green/brown color scheme also points at the dikes in holland (green grass on top, dirt underneath).
