It's actually basalt -blocks used in the Netherlands to enforce dikes. My last name Westerdijk, translated dijk > dike.
Borders too wide on the right and I hate green but that's just me other than that it's quite nice.

Yeh i like it, but mebbe change the clouring a bit by way of toning it down. perhaps reduce gamma a wee bit?
otherwise, good
White sides are different sizes. I wouldn't say it catches my eye especially though, which is what you want really if you're a designer. A border would be good. You need something striking in there. Even if you just went crazy on that first 'b' and made it super detailed and awesome so that it stood out from the rest.
As I'm sitting here studying it, it looks good, but if you want someone to be thinking 'I want this guy to design a webpage for me' you need them to see it and be attracted to the essence.

Nice design. Don't like the colouring.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
But I am not aiming for that market, I am aiming for the more traditional market, but that is kind of hard to explain.Kommander_Kale wrote:

Looking at it more I'd go with a cleaner font, those serifs are a bit ugly
And what do you mean by traditional? Web design for the elderly?

I don't understand "work about contact" but it looks good.
Brochures and stuff for more settled companies.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

And the work/about/contact/white borders were a screenshotting mistake by me.Kommander_Kale wrote:

I like the color scheme Bern. Well done.
KK, with a traditional base, companies, you want something that is sharp and stylish? Style is all there, the colour contrasts give you something to go on but no matter who the target audience is, you want them to be struck by it, make it stick in their memory. I still think that using that as your core you could make it look a tad more professional.
It's crap as is all your work.
Berna and skype with Cyborg don't mix.

needs centering, perhaps make the green stuff fade to white instead of gray (up to you)
Nice though.

I like it a lot. Simple, and... I don't how to describe it, it seems "innovative" to me.
Needs centered (as said before), The third line of text is too light imo, and the colors are...gross. Not really much of a logo either in my opinion. More like a banner or potential poster/ad, but I guess it works.
lol - I hadn't even seen the third line of text - yeah, I recommend that too.OmniDeath wrote:
